La Maison du Quai

Bed and Breakfast in Brantôme, Périgord

La Maison du Quai sits in the heart of Brantôme, overlooking the River Dronne and with picturesque views of the old watermill, the 16th century right-angled bridge, the Pont Coudé, and the monastery gardens. Also known as 'the Abbots house', the historic house dates from the 13th Century and was once home to Pierre de Bourdeille, Abbot and Lord of Brantôme.

This small, charming Bed and Breakfast establishment is open from November to March, and offers 12 spacious and elegant bedrooms. Choose from our 'Classic' and 'Tradition' rooms or one of our two 'Junior Suites' or even our Apartment. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and benefits from an en-suite bathroom, mini-bar, safe, satellite tv, and air conditioning.

Our delicious continental breakfast is served each morning in "Au Fil du Temps", a classic "Bistrot Périgourdin", located 100m across the river and also with views of the Brantôme Abbey and the monastery gardens.

La Maison du Quai provides the perfect base for enjoying the attractive town of Brantôme and exploring the charming and historic region of the Dordogne, with its castles, medieval towns and villages, beautiful scenery, and of course the famous prehistoric caves such as those at Lascaux and Font de Gaume.
